Honey Ginger Cookies

    These cookies are so simple and deliciously addictive! They are the perfect addition to any holiday party.

    Makes: 24-30

    Directions
    Step ONE
    Pre-heat oven to 350˚F degrees or 325˚F convection. Prepare 3 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

    Step TWO
    In a standing mixer, add in the oil, sugar, and egg. Beat. Add honey, continue beating.

    Step THREE
    Add flour, baking soda, ginger, and salt. Mix well.

    Step FOUR
    Refrigerate dough for 10-15 minutes.

    Step FIVE
    Using oiled hands, pinch off a walnut size piece of dough and roll into a ball, place on the cookie sheet. Repeat with all the dough, keeping 1-2 inches between each cookie.

    Step SIX
    Using the palm of your hand, lightly flatten each cookie.

    Step SEVEN
    Sprinkle each cookie with the coarse sugar.

    Step EIGHT
    Bake for 12-13 minutes. Cool cookies on a rack.

    Ingredients
    2/3 cup Sunflower Oil
    3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
    1 Egg
    1/4 cup Honey
    2 cups All Purpose Flour
    2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Ground Ginger
    1/8 tsp Salt
    2 tbsp Coarse Sugar (Can use Sugar in the Raw)
